Community Food Shelf

The Community Food Shelf runs as a daily self-select market, so families choose their own groceries rather than take a pre-packed bag. MFCC works as a Vermont Foodbank partner. Staff can tell you which days the market is open and how to sign up, and whether other food access programs like farm to school education fit your family.

Home Visits

Home Visits bring a staff member to your home to work with you and your child in your own space. Visits focus on your child's individual interests, needs, and abilities, and on what you want to practice between visits. Families can ask about scheduling, who comes, and what to expect at a first visit.

Mentoring

Mentoring connects Milton youth with older teens and adults in the community who care and show up. A mentor and a young person spend regular time together, talking, doing something they both enjoy, and building a steady relationship over time. Families can ask the center how youth are matched and what the commitment looks like.

Milton After School Kids (MASK)

Milton After School Kids, or MASK, is the center's afterschool program for Milton elementary and middle school students. Staff develop the curriculum, run day-to-day operations, and often lead gross motor games. Kids move between activities and free time, and registration for Summer MASK Camp is handled through the center.

Milton Farmers Market

The Milton Farmers Market brings growers and vendors together for the community. Families can walk the stalls, meet the people who produce the food, and shop for the week. Staff can tell you the market's season and schedule, and whether food access programs connect with it.

PATCH

Milton PATCH stands for a Planned Approach To Community Health. Members from other agencies, organizations, businesses, and community groups meet monthly to find ways to support children and families in Milton. Together they share what each group is doing, coordinate services, fill gaps, and cut duplication. Families can ask how PATCH connects to services they need.
